I can run for 30 minutes!

So thrilled that I've managed to complete Couch to 5k aged 61. I last 'graduated' seven years ago and didn't think I'd be able to do it again. It feels wonderful. I'm now going to gradually improve my speed so that I get nearer to 5k and then do the Bridge to 10k programme. It's great to have had all the support from this community along the way.

Well done Onyva 👍😀. I have always been quite fit but decided to do the C5K at 71. On week 7 so far and deciding to repeat this week as, although I feel fine, I want to be more accustomed to this pace first

That is truly excellent news! May you have a long and thoroughly enjoyable Summer of running.Just how good does it feel to see that graduate badge against your name?!

I am also 61, so it's encouraging to know you have been successful. It's my first time of trying this programme and I'm repeating certain weeks (like Phoenixthedog) until I feel more confident of the running and before moving on to the next stage. Well done!
