A couple of questions please ......

I am wondering if you still graduate if you complete 9 weeks but not 5k. I am on W8R2 but only 3.5k so far.

Also, wondering your thoughts on measuring distance. Was out with my sister and she has Apple Watch - it gave very different distance to the ‘health app’ that automatically is on my Apple phone - I wonder if there is another way I should be measuring distance?? Thank you

90% of people don’t do 5k in 30 minutes when they graduate so don’t worry about that.

I had an Apple Watch and it was really quite inaccurate! I swapped to a cheaper, and far more reliable for running, garmin 💪🏽

Thank you for the info- I’ll have a look. Good to know not uncommon to not reach 5k ———- I cannot believe I’ve come this far after struggling so much with first 60 second run.

Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.

I couldn’t run 5K in 30 minutes when I graduated last July. Hell, I can’t even do it now 😀

I have a Garmin watch and love it.

It’s always good to remember how far we’ve all come. I think we all remember that first 60 second run!

Thank you for your reply. About to go and try W8R3 and funnily enough, I looked back on a text I sent my sister after my first run and how hard I’d found 60 seconds. Every run a big accomplishment. Thanks for your encouragement 😊
