Wk 4 run one... in the bag 😁

I have been repeating week 3 runs as I was too scared to move to week 4.. it seemed such a jump to run two lots of 5 mins but guess what...I've just gone and done it.. I'm ridiculously pleased with myself..πŸ˜‹πŸŒˆ never been a runner in my life.

Anyone else at the same stage of C25K?

HiπŸ‘‹ I was nervous about the increments too but just kept ploughing on. Well done on proving to yourself you can do it.πŸ‘πŸ˜ I'm on week 9 and amazed at how far the programme has brought me. Enjoy!

Well done Bonnym there's no harm in rerunning various weeks and any run you feel you need to! But yes it's time I reckon you go for week 4πŸ‘

Yes, week 4 is a jump, but if you've been doing the previous runs correctly it should be nothing to fear.

Well done!

Well done for I am going to do R3 of week 4 today. It was daunting but I decided not to think about the jump from 3 mins to 5 , jog slower than I would normally and I was really happy with what I achieved. The second run was sheer willpower and bloody mindedness to finish. , hoping today is easier.

Hi Lacuocabionda , just seen your post, good luck on your run, I am due to do my WK4 R3 today as well. Let me know how you get on : )

Hi Pink4eva, just got in from my slooow jog and stretched. Was just as hard as R2 to be honest. I am putting it down to spring, always tired for the first few weeks . Circadian rythms?. Or too much white wine last night🀭.How was your run?

Hi Lacuocabionda , well done for completing WK4. I did complete R3 but it was a struggle. I had quite enjoyed the other two runs but I had to make myself go to the gym after work, I had been up since 0400hrs and was also fasting, so it probably wasn't the best time, I just wanted to get it done so I could go for WK5 R1 tomorrow when I have my days off. Hope I will have more energy then. When are you going for your first WK 5 run?

I am going to attempt it tomorrow. It’s the 3rd run of 20 minutes For this week. When I saw that I thought, ...well I can’t repeat it here πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Fasting , running and up that early ,can’t be easy , well done for pushing through. Good luck with this weeks challenge!

Hi Bonnym , just wanted to say well done for completing WK 4. I am due to go for WK4 R3 today. It took me 2 months going between WK 1 -WK2, once the gyms opened again I started running on the treadmill and have moved onwards and upwards. : )

I'm in the same stage. The last minute in the last 5 mins of the first run in Week 4 was the longest in my life. I thought I was not going to make it. Tomorrow will be running Week4, run 3.
