My first consolidation run this morning. 1 degree above freezing, but it really did feel much colder.
Thankfully it was dry, as I found out last night when I accompanied my wife on her W2R1. A not-too-bad 2.95 miles (4.75K) easy run in 30 mins. I would have been - ever-so-slightly - further if it hadn't been to the flock of ewes in the way!
One thing I did learn though is that 5 hours of sleep after a late curry with a glass of beer wasn't a good idea before running!!! A healthy diet starts NOW. Any suggestions?
