Can't seem to get the speed right. Felt I was going too slowly so I speed up, can't breathe so I slow down but feel I'm going too slowly.
Have no one to run with so can't judge pace am on W8R2 but feel like I shouldn't be there bc I don't feel I'm really running, more just a light jog (as Sarah tells me to do!) π
Anybody else struggle the same way or am I alone in this? π Xo

Do you realise how much more physically beneficial it is ?
Ending a 'run' feeling like you could carry on if you had to, is a great feeling and is the perfect pace for C25K. Every run (JOG!) should be at an easy, 'conversational' pace.
As I tell nearly everyone who struggles with pace at any stage of C25K... forget any notions of 'running'. Instead , slow down and concentrate on 'jogging'.
Far too many beginners fail C25K because they have no idea of pace, think they have to 'run' (with all the associated imagery of athletes and also memories from school) and then get discouraged and give up cos it was all too difficult whether it was Week 1 or Week 4 or 5.
I'm very similar to you as when I say I've taken up running I then follow up by saying "well a slow jog". At first I was worrying about going to slow but I now realise its not about the speed, I'd much rather be able to go the distance. I'm also on week 8 but have already pushed myself as felt like I had more so have managed well over 30 mins. I wouldn't worry about the speed, celebrate the fact you are doing it π
