As you can see I still can't run at the moment but had my pre-assessment check and MRI on Tuesday and they both went okay the pre-assessment was interesting should have had it at 11 am but had come in early for another meeting with the Consultant at 9:15 but ended up having the pre-assessment at 9 am had weight and height taken and then into the checking ward had my BP taken and then the MRSA swabs into mouth, nose and groin caused some pain in the nose despite the statement it is not painful gave 4 test tubes of blood and managed to get my entry into the ward changed to after 5 pm instead of 2 pm and then went into the day room to wait for my 10 am MRI scan got called by one of the nurses and had to see the consultant who asked if i was okay had I had any symptoms since last time told him no change my wife asked when could I go back to work and was told 4 to 6 weeks but depends really on me asked about having stitches being removed and he said he only puts in dissolving stitches also asked about when I would start the chemo/radiotherapy and was told would only get it if they found anything and was told about the chemical cocktail which costs about £1000 and I will get that at 4 am on the 29th four hours before my operation. So feel a lot more happy about what is going to happen on the 29th and will do two maybe three walks before I go in and will let you know how I got on.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Glad it's all going well, my wife slinky had 38 staples in her head which were pulled out after 10 days, she continues to improve with her recovery, strength has returned to her leg and arm, beforehand she could hardly get up from a chair, now she's about back to normal with that, of course she can't do any running for a while yet, but getting in some walks and building that slowly.
Crossing my fingers for you, Michael. They can work miracles these days and I’m sure you’ll be out there running soon in 2018. I know at least 4 people who’ve had brain tumours removed or zapped and they’re all doing fine.
Michael...things are happening and it is looking positive too.. which is fantastic news.
Best wishes and lots of positive vibes being sent to you... davelinks wife, is doing amazingly... and so will you... walking today.. running....maybe not tomorrow, but very soon :)x
