Despite the unusually cold weather the world and his brother seemed to still have gone out to the park where I run, so once again I was dodging groups of people and families enjoying the latest Covid rule relaxations.
As I had a slight knee pain for a few minutes at the beginning of my last run I purposely kept my pace down ‘just in case’. Thankfully I had no problems at all with my knee.
I’m just on 3km at 30 minutes (I used to expect to run three miles in a little over 20min but that was 30+ years ago). But considering the 1m runs in week 1 were hard work I’m quite happy with that as my fitness has obviously improved immensely during the C25K programme. Hitting the 5K target in 30 mins can wait a few more weeks!
Given the minor niggles on my last run this was a great run. Looking forward to my final W9 run on Friday.
