Early days yet, but today felt a little easier 😁 My first run left me quite sore, so today I put more effort in to my stretches. Out very early to avoid the crowds (I’m a bit shy). Can anyone recommend an arm holder for my phone? There are so many available 🤦🏻♀️

I actually have a belt holder, and hide it under whatever top I'm wearing.

Plus: I hardly notice it when wearing it.
Minus: It doesn't stop sweat getting to the contents.

You might want to think about alternatives to an arm holder for your phone. My wife has one and used to swear by it, while I swear by my waist belt.........she now occasionally borrows my belt and I haven't seen the band for quite some time.
My waist belt is a cheap Karrimor one and has accommodated three different size phones (not at the same time) has two pockets and is a lot more versatile and symmetrical to wear. It has lasted 8 years and has plenty of life left in it.
I just got a cheapie from b n M Then as I’ve enjoyed it more bought leggings with a side pocket in. It’s only the last few runs that haven’t left me v sore ! Lol. Maybe slow down ?
I am so pleased that you have started this. We are a friendly bunch, and do ask anything at all, even if it seems a silly question - if you are wondering about it, others will be too!Stretches are really important, but only after running. Rest days are VITAL and should never be missed for any reason.
I can't suggest a holder as I still use my very old iPod Nano from the 13th century. However, you could try naked running... no, not like that. Running without tech. No 'phones etc, depending on where you are running. If it is a safe place, then naked running is wonderful and allows you to listen to the birds and other wildlife.

Well done again! Yes the stretches really do help.I'm on the market for a phone holder too. I might try the b n m one bad run suggested for now. For now I'm just carrying it. I only started listening to music in week two and it made a lot of difference. Couldn't do naked I think!
