Well so pleased I completed the nine weeks and I’m all set for my first run without Jo Whiley talking to me . I’d love to hear others experiences about what worked best for them. Must confess I do get bored so maybe need to change the route and have a compelling podcast to listen to! I also need to try the 80% at talking pace and 20% faster rather than the middling pace I go for. So lots of things to consider but first things first getting that first run done on my own!

Congratulations !Other things you could do would be head over to the bridge to 10k forum, or take a look at 5he consolidation club .
Or perhaps try the NRC App .
Plenty to keep you interested 😁👍
Congratulations StringsandKeys don't forget to post to get your graduate badge and in the link you will find plenty to do post C25K. Have a good Easter.

Keep running, keep smiling.
Congratulations 🥳 and a massive well done.
May I suggest at some point, the Nike Running Club app. It has some great guided runs which play in conjunction with your own music. Good luck and carry on!
The key thing for making sure you keep at it is variety. If you're always doing the same thing it can become routine and sometimes boring.
Yes I was doing three runs a week which were three different routes but still a bit samey. Today I took the dog and ran the fields rather than road tough but different and although I was definitely slower it was more fun. Thanks and good luck with your runs
Once I'd graduated I changed my playlist and started to head out and go wherever I fancied, because the ground is a lot dryer than when I/we started there are a lot more options across fields/grass or tracks and I can mix it up a little each time. Look for the Coach Cory inspired run on the NRC app, that's a good one, just over 3km. NRC runs are time based or distance based so you'll need to decide which works best for you.
Have you run your route the "wrong" way round? I have three routes I run. I combine two for my longer runs on my way to 10K (not quite there yet.) With "Stay at home" now lifted, you could go to try out other places - you could even walk a new route first on a "rest" day to check for any hazards (and get some non-impact exercise). Bridge to 5K has great advice. The normal advice is to do about 10 more 30 minute Consolidation runs before moving on up.
Thanks yes I did try one route the other way and realised it was hillier but actually that’s a good idea and there is always the chance to drive somewhere new. I’m happy to keep doing 30 minute but yes why not aim for a 10k! Good luck with your running sounds good
