I started C25K in September and graduated in November. I did a few weeks of 30 minute consolidation runs and since then I’ve been pottering! I thought I should follow a plan and looked at various options but I didn’t get round to it I just pottered along doing 3.5K to 4.5K 2 or 3 times a week except during the ice and snow. Today I thought I’d try 5K as I’ve been feeling good and feeling as though I could keep going.
I managed it this morning. It didn’t feel too much of a struggle either.
What I’m trying to say in a round about way is that I don’t have great plans nor a great interest in stats. It suits some people very well but not me.
I have always followed the C25K guide and so far no injuries. I have improved my fitness, increased my route very gradually as advised and l enjoy what I do, that’s the important thing...find a way that fits with you!
