Just started w3 . Omg a 3 minute run I thought ! First one was a bit of a shock but the second was definitely easier . The session itself dare I say seemed to fly by I felt I had energy. Running 5k in one session does seem a while off though !

Hi!! Iโve just completed week 2 run 3, so will be moving to week 3 next...! Iโm actually a little scared- Iโm still finding it quite tough!! Did you find weeks 1 and 2 easy? Good luck and really enjoy reading your progress!
Hi no I didnโt find them easy at all ! I think the key is to jog slowly and get your breathing right. I always struggle with the breathing because I run too fast but Iโm determined to finish this @5k ๐ Let me know how you find wk 3 ๐
Are running or jogging?

Thanks John! I am definitely slow jogging- I watched that video mid week 1 and adjusted to be super slow- Iโm just very unfit!! Iโm really lucky in that I live in between two huge parks, but Iโve found I much prefer running along the road, as every single runner overtakes me in the park- not very motivating! Iโm really determined to achieve C25K but I am struggling!
I think that unless your are clinically or morbidly obese, then the program should be achievable by anyone, provided that they go at the right pace.
It is designed for those coming from the couch... i.e the unfit!
BUT... if it really feels an awful struggle, then maybe consider doing the 9 weeks as a brisk walking program - so that the running (jogging) bits are very brisk walks... and after Week 9, go back to Week 1 and then do it as a normal jogging program.
No shame in that - think long term!
