I started my C25K journey 3wks ago today. I do the same route on each run, I’m trying not to read posts which are farther down the road as I don’t want to know what the next run has in store until I’m literally walking out of the door. The first run was tough for a number of reasons but I was so made up that I completed in one piece. I’ve been doing the strength & flexibility podcast on the rest days which I’m finding really useful. I know I’m not fit so need to build strength & flexibility too. I was apprehensive about today’s run but managed to complete w3 R1, feeling pretty good. Am amazed by the progress made so far & am really feeling stronger in myself.

Thank you for all the supportive posts. I’m an avid shy reader.

Well done you, this is such a great programme to get people running and fitter and stronger, I never believed we could do it but each run prepares you for the next and if you struggle you know to slow down a bit

Enjoy your running journey

And do you know speed comes naturally, towards the end what felt very slow was actually faster than in the early days even our walking pace speeded up a lot
