Wooooo I RAN FOR 8 MINUTES!!!! But made the mistake of looking forward to the next run......I a bit nervous of 20 mins straight....how will I get through this without a recover walk? What if I can’t do it? Will Jo talk to me through the run? I love her encouragement while running!!!!

Well done but you didn't run for eight minutes....... you ran for sixteen minutes and brisk walked for five minutes........total twenty one minutes.

This breakdown of W5 may allay your fears healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Relax and enjoy it.

Yes, this is true.... thank you, I needed some sensible words 😄 I do always think of each section of the run and forget the bigger picture! 😳

Really well done.Don't worry about the next run at all.

The more you think about it, the more you'll convince yourself you can't do it, when the truth is, you can!

Trust in the plan. Start off slower than normal and take it easy. If you've got this far, then you're ready!

Thank you 🎉

You can do it. Each run you do is preparing you for the next one. You need to get ready for the huge grin on your face at the end of run 3. :D x

Slow and steady.. and you got this. Don't forget that. Just keep telling yourself that.. You've built up and you'll do it easily... then remember to keep that slow pace for W6R1 as well.

Well done on getting this far. Like the others have said YOU CAN DO IT, trust the programme and leave the bad gremlins at home. You will get the great encouragement from you virtual trainer all the steps of the way. You will feel absolutely ecstatic when you complete it so keep that in your head all the way. Good luck.

Your next run is 90% mental toughness and 10% physical. You've done the program you are ready. Trust yourself and the program. You can do it!

R3 on this week was when I really started to believe that I could do this!! It seems like a big step - but, as many fellow C25K-er's have often said - once you get into the rhythm and your heart rate gets steady - time doesn't seem to matter anymore. You will enjoy it. Good luck ☘️
