So after 6 months out of action due to pneumonia I did a run last Wednesday and wanted to see where I was at.. I ran 1 mile in 11 minutes... My brain was saying this is going to be tough.. My legs were feeling heavy... And boy did I suffer with aching limbs.... I was trying work out where I should restart and I just didn't want to do the whole course again.. I was going out yesterday to continue but my muscles were so sore.. I gave in and didn't run but I managed to force myself out this morning and decided to start at week 4 and I feel this was a great place... enough running to feel the benefit but making sure I have the foundation before the lovely W5R3.... Have a great weekend..

Well done.

Don't underestimate the need to recondition your body to the impact of running.

I restarted from W1 after a three month break. It really isn't a problem, however I have to admit I can't wait to get back to longer runs.........but I will.
