I cannot believe that last night I ran for 20 mins straight! I remember in W3 thinking that 3 mins was too much. I was very, very worried about the challenge of 20 mins, and kept repeating the run of 8 mins twice, over and over. Many thanks to the many who post here, and the good folk behind this platform, as the chance to keep in touch is a real motivator. He is to finishing C25K. I have signed up for a half marathon in Oct to keep me focused and motivated

Well done you! That gives me hope. I just signed up today and this morning was week one day one. Ooooft by the third 60 minute jog I was well out of breath. But you give me hope that it gets better! πͺπ»

It does!!!
It does. I was exactly the same the first week. Just keep it slow and do your pre/post run stretching to avoid injury.
Thanks for your reply CJDiva. I remember very, very well my Week 1 Run 1 run. It was so difficult and when I looked at what was to come in Week 2 I really couldn't see myself either getting up to or beyond 60 seconds. Of all the advice I can give it is to just keep repeating the runs until you feel comfortable with each one, and go back a step if a run if a new run is too challenging. Keep going
