Has anyone done the couch to 5k , if so how did it go?
I don't have any health issues but i am female aged 67
I haven't really done much in the way of running, so just checking why people drop out from the 5k ?
Thanks Eve

Millions of people have done couch to 5 k across the world, lots have graduated and gone onto becoming very good runners, on the flip side of that, lots will have either given up for various reasons, some will have graduated then simply stopped running, others return and complete the course again. There's no hard and fast rule. But this is what makes us unique as individuals.
Give couch to 5 k a chance and you'll not regret it 👍
Take a look at the below link, for all the advice you'll need to find your way around. There's advice on stretching before and after running advice on hydration and lots more.
Hi Eve and welcome to the forum and the program.I would say everyone here is either doing or has done the program !
Have you read the program guide ?
That is certainly the place to start .
And 67 is by no means unusual for starting this , I started at 63 (now 64)
Have you started the program yet ?
Hello. I've just finished Week 8 so my last 3 runs will be next week (Mon, Wed & Fri) I'm 69 and hadn't run since my school days and even then, not very much.I have thoroughly enjoyed following the C25K "plan".
Read the posts and also read all the information and advice that there is on this forum. It really is invaluable.
The best advice (after reading all the guidelines) is to just go for it. If you keep looking for reasons why you can't or shouldn't do it then you'll never do it.
The amazing feeling that you get at the end of every single run is well worth it.
The people who drop out are not on the forum, so it is not easy to answer your final question. However C25k was designed twenty five years ago on the principle of "NO PAIN, NO PAIN" to counter the ethos that had hitherto prevailed of "NO PAIN, NO GAIN"
Read the guide, follow the instructions and you can take the first steps in changing your life for good.
Hi Eve, I just completed it last week and have now started the Couch to 5k+
I thought Couch to 5k was a great way to start running and get fit. The beauty of it is that you can set your own pace, just do what you feel comfortable with. Each week you do a little bit more as your fitness increases. It’s a great feeling hitting week 9 😀
