It’s not that I didn’t believe the positive blogs written by all the lovely runners....it was more about ‘will this work for me’ given I have never considered myself to be a ‘runner/jogger’. In fact, I will go as far as to say that I always hated the idea of running! So to come this far and actually enjoy it is both surprising and amazing!
Atrocious weather meant I couldn’t go out on Tuesday, not only was it pouring with rain, the winds reached 70mph, it was definitely a duvet day not a running day! Today however was perfect running weather, no wind with the warm sun on my back. The advice regarding finding the right (slow!) pace for you really does make a difference as it’s enables you to run nonstop for the full 25 minutes without even thinking about the time left to run. Of course, listening to music you enjoy also helps. Looking forward to start R1 of W8 on Saturday.
Have a great rest of the week everyone.
