Attempted my final run of C25k on Saturday, was feeling excited but sadly had to walk at 20 mins, not sure why, then continued but walked again. It was certainly warmer than usual but had water with me. Also I had my first covid jab on Thursday and did feel very dehydrated that night with a banging headache so left it until Saturday to do the run. So I am redoing R3 this morning and hopefully will succeed if not I will keep trying or maybe leave for a few days -after all its not a race😂😂

I think you can consider this as very normal. The combination of warmer weather (which is something your body has to get used to) with the Covid jab, that can cause your body to feel less energetic. And on top of that, everybody has an off day once in a while. All perfectly normal. Make sure you are well rested and your body feels fine, your body can still feel some effect from the Covid jab. Try again when you feel fully ok, good luck!

Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.
This post about run preparation expands on that theme healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and may help.
