This morning I went to a ParkRun route for my third consolidation run. I walked for the first 5 minutes, ran for 30 minutes, then walked for 5 (the same pattern as my last 6 runs). I hadn’t quite reached 5K, so I had to walk an additional 52 seconds. So, I managed 5K in 40.52 minutes. I was really pleased with that. My long term goal is to be able to run the whole distance of course, but isn’t that what consolidation runs are all about!
An added bonus was the scenery. The route takes you past a lake, a river and the sea front.
Onwards and upwards.
