Finally did 5k!

Hi

Like many I graduated not having achieved 5k. I was however very proud of myself completing the program and wanted to keep running. Since graduation, I have tried to run three times a week but have found it really hard. Lost my mojo a bit which is similar to that described by others.

Downloaded Nike run this week and have finally achieved a 5k run!!

However, since graduating I seem to ache more around my knees after a run... any advice please ?

Congratulations Lucky55555 that's a great achievement, those knees do need looking after though perhaps this link to some different stretches may help?

Snap. Me too. Give yourself an extra day off (or even two). And do those stretches and strengthening exercises. BTW celebrate your 1st 5k. First of many.

I've been able to do one 5k each week. It's great.
