Getting to my run site 2 miles away at 7:30 am doesn't mean I will be the first there! Beaten by a van and a cyclist.

Running when it is raining makes your shorts rub in unpleasant places!

Rain is always heaviest when you are furthest from your car/home.

Ron Hill windproof jackets [not designed to be waterproof] are pretty water repellent when they have been washed in Nikwax's TX Direct.

My wife is even more lovely than I thought - she had a warm bath ready for me when I got back in.
