After a challenging week completing W7, run 3 was much better by the way thanks to the advise from you guys, I completed the first of week 8 last night, that extra 3 minutes though proved to be a bit of a stretch. Admittedly I did catch myself unconsciously picking up the pace a bit too early on, which needed reigning in, but it was a bit of a slog at the end.
Again, the breathing was alright , heavy but not laboured; I was just physically tired near the end. The good news is however, after a good few stretching exercises as advised, the tight leg muscle issue didn't raise its head again.
Anyway, I can't believe I've only got 5 runs left of the programme, there is no way I thought I'd be doing these kind of runs when I first started and it just shows that it can be done and C25K does really works. (I was a bit of a sceptic initially, sorry all!)
Last one, although I'm more interested in the consistency, I actually recorded the run part of the session and clocked up a little over 2.5 miles in 28 mins. Just curious whether this is good / slow / average??
