First run in 8 days due to ice, cold, niggles et al. I waited til today as there were patches of ice around, plus I had my Covid jab on Friday. Bit of a sore arm near the jab yesterday. Glad I waited til this afternoon as all the ice has now gone. Sub 45 minutes (just!) so not spectacular (but faster than last week). So pleased to be back running - 8 days is too long!!! I didn't push on any more than 5K, so I defeated the adrenaline gremlins. So back on Bridge to 60 minutes next week.

Can't believe I have been telling myself - "I will ONLY do a 5K today." That sounds like a Runner not a Rennur.

Stay safe fellow runners. Weather is supposed to be improving next week so get out there and have some (socially distanced) running fun. All you C25K guys who got out last week - you deserve some fun next week for your valiant (possibly foolhardy) efforts in the ice and snow.
