Hi I’m new to this site I haven’t run for some months as I lost my mojo but as of tomorrow I’m going back to the beginning and use couch to 5k

Running used to help me with mental problems and it will be nice to share my progress with others

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Great that you're getting back at it. The beneficial effects of exercise on mental health are, of course, well known, so it is a good decision by you. It's not the best time of year to be restarting weather wise, so at the start remember the feeling at the end of a running session as motivation. As you progress, the benefits should last longer and longer. Good luck!👍🏴‍☠️
