The programme has prepared you for it. My top tip. Go slow and then slow down some more. It was my slowest runs that I’ve ever done (I’m not fast anyway) but I felt so incredible after for completing. So, tell yourself you’re prepared abs keep slow!

I just did it! I was a bit scared too but after the first 5 mins I relaxed a bit.

My top tip is just don’t think about the run, the distance or any of it. Look around and enjoy the scenery, write a shopping list in your head, think about what you’re going to do when you get home, just DON’T think about what running time is left. And before you know it you’ll be done and thinking ‘hey I just did that’!

You can do this, everything you’ve done so far has trained you for it. Good luck!

If you've been on the treadmill up to this point, the temptation may be to go too fast when free running. Keep it slow.

Don't think about how long you've got left to run. Look around you. Listen to your music. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. You can do it.

Well done on your progress.

W5R3 is the shortest workout since W3 ........it is all explained in this breakdown of W5 healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Relax and enjoy it.

I completed it last night, similarly I was worried it was too big a jump from previous runs but the programme seems to have prepared me for it. Just go with it, don’t think about the time or distance but PACE yourself and you’ll get through it. You’ll feel amazing when it’s done 👍

If you look at my posts - 2 weeks ago I posted identical to this post!!! 2 tips - 1. Don’t go too fast and 2. BELIEVE that the program has got you to a place where this is possible!!! It has and what I’ve learned through this program is that the mental battle is as big as the physical. Bigger. All I can really say is you’ve done the work so you can physically do it and you will go out whenever it is and you’ll run for 20 mins. You will!
