I have had a chest infection so haven't run in almost 2 weeks...I was planning in going out on New Year's Eve morning for week 6 run 1 but I'm really scared ;( I'm so afraid I won't be able to still do it...
Will I have to start again?

No, I doubt you'll have to start again...there have been so many chesty lurgys going round, or is it just the same one? I had it too and had 2 weeks off, and was surprised it didn't seem to affect my running. Go for your run, and tell yourself you can stop if you don't feel up to it, or slow down, you might be pleasantly surprised. If you're still not well enough, you can still have a nice walk, and if needed you could repeat week 5. Good luck!
^^^^ Sound advice from CurlyGirly.
Yup go with what Curly said wont go far wrong
I am at the same point for similar reasons.I'm just going to give it a go.Either way I am off the couch lol!
Wot Curly said. The important thing is just to get out and do something even if it is not the whole scheduled run. Use the first time back out to assess how you are feeling and place yourself back on the programme based on that perhaps?
I have the same chesty cough (probably). I decided to do w2r3 again to see how it went. It went well, so did a 3 minute run at the end, just for the hell of it. I'll do w3r1 on Wednesday.
good luck with whatever you decide.
