I did it!! After 4 days off I admit to being a teeny bit worried but I RAN FOR THREE LOTS OF 5 MINUTES!! Me!! Yes me!! Me, who spluttered and puffed through those 60 second runs in week 1.
Partly I can’t believe I did this today but mostly I am SO BLOODY PROUD of myself 🏃♀️ 💪 👍🏼 😃
For reference I am overweight, middle aged, post menopausal, I hate exercise, have never ‘run’ (well not since the egg and spoon race in primary) so IF I CAN DO IT ANYONE CAN!!!
If you have any doubts about this programme, put them to the back of your mind and think about how fabulous and amazing you are YES YOU ARE! We can do this!
Roll on Thursday morning! 🏃♀️

Well done, you have every right to feel proud of yourself.
Fantastic work! Feels great doesn’t? I am like you (overweight, middle aged and menopausal) and I am still amazed and overjoyed with my progress every run. Currently at wk3 run 2.
It was fresh snow on Monday so not slippery...I ran in tyre tracks on the back roads...I had intended to redo a week 3 run because of the weather and when I realised it wasn’t slippery thought sod it ! I’m going for a week 4 run and couldn’t believe I did it!!! My husband thinks I’ve been kidnapped by aliens and replaced with another being, so unlikely is it that I am enjoying running!!! Next one tomorrow, hope it is as manageable!!! I think anyone who does any of these runs is incredible! I haven’t run since school about 40 years ago! This amazing programme makes it possible
So impressed with your week 5 comments... keep us updated ... and keep going!! As you said we are all amazing for doing this!!! Go you and all of us!!!
Partly that yes and I think partly that I felt like I could keep going longer Week 4 nearly beat me, I was close to giving up and was heard to be muttering curses all the way round
