Can anyone recommend a pair of winter running shoes with good grip. I really want to continue running through the winter but I'm worried about running on icy days

I don't personally have specific shoes to run in winter, but if more grip would be wise where you run you could look in to "trail shoes". These are light weight and favoured by fell runners and cross-country types. They have a deeper tread than common or garden running shoes.

I wear Solomon, hill running , great tread and super comfortable .They also come in half sizes. .The recommendation is to go up 1/2 size as they can be narrower in the upper part of the trainer. Generally, I wear a 5 in trainers but in Soloman's I wear a 5 1/2 .Good luck .
