This morning was my first run of W7 and was feeling fairly confident!
I was pestering my husband to come for a run with me for a while and today he did. Yeyyy!I wanted him to start at W1 run but he said he will join me on W7 instead. Secretly i wanted him to get out of breath just a little bit but none of that🤣. He is much taller than me so 1 of his steps equalled to 2 of mine which meant i had to work hard on this run to keep up with his 'slow' pace.😅 Also the fact that he was making me laugh every minute meant that i looked like a dragon puffing and huffing air in the cold morning. First 10min was a killer followed by the next 10min, followed by 5min of utter murder but ive managed it and felt sooo goood afterwards!
Back to my snail pace on the next run though!😉

Back when I joined a Start to Run group a couple of years ago, I met up with a couple outside of the lessons. I tried to follow their pace and I had to give up after 5 to 10 minutes! 5 to 10 freaking minutes, I was nearly puking. That taught me well, never try to equal the pace of another. Also the reason why I prefer running alone, even though I'd love not being alone.
You are absolutely right BlackScorpion! I'm still proud of myself and continuing to make progress. I'm happy that hubby is in good shape (this i knew before i invited him for a run😁) and I'm investing in myself so sky is the limit!
