Well done, Ian. Glad you got out there! And you ran a sub 40 minute 5K ππππ You know, thatβs kind of what I do. I lie in bed thinking βIβm not sure if I want to goβ. In the shower, Iβm thinking that same thing. As Iβm putting on my running gear, thinking the same. As I open the front door, I think, βWell, youβre here now, you might as well go!β
In fact, sometimes I even start running and Iβm still arguing with myself about going π
I ran a 8K personal best yesterday, getting out and starting the run was OK, 3/4 of the way through the run when I was feeling a bit knackered I passed a large sign advertising the local 10K for 2020, but there was no 2020 10K, however, I thought to myself "no way will I be running the 2021 run" after I finished that 8K in a time of 56.57 I thought I might run that 10K next September, I do always find the hardest part around 3/4 into my run. ππΎ
Isn't that the wrong way around? Bath followed by run?
Pleased to hear you got out there today when you weren't really wanting to. Seems to be a bit of a theme at the moment doesn't it?
Nothing special? I beg to differ. You had a good run in the end - another sub-40 minute 5k. And every run is special, and a privilege, in my book - even if we do like to whinge about it sometimes.
Haha, yes it was the wrong way around, but I'd decided on the bath and at that time hadn't decided to run , so it ended up the wrong way around and then a shower as well after the run π€£
Lol so funny how you say βnothing special just a 5K!!β !5k is fantastic, plus another sub 40 it is brilliant.
That is how I feel when I am trying to go out early!! Thinking about it for a few hours when I could have just got up and gone for a run. Would you believe I actually thought maybe I should sleep in my running gear then I am ready as soon as I get up (lol I wonβt though!!)
Haha, I didn't mean it to sound flippant over a 5K , it was more to do with nothing special happened in the run πOh that's a good idea , sleep in my gear πππ
