Done 2nd run of the final wk and it was so hard. I really wanted to stop with in the 1st 5 mins. I was past the 1/2way mark before I settled into the run and started to breath and enjoy my run. 1 more to go to graduation.

Great, nearly there, looking at your zones you will probably be more comfortable if you start slower and then maybe build up pace. My graphs used to look very similar to yours, now I try to keep most of my run in the cardio zone. This morning 40 minutes were cardio 10 minutes were peak and that included a 1km sprint finish!Might be worth a try, anyway congrats on getting to 9-2😊

Cheers I don’t really understand the zones but I’ll take your advice and try starting slower and building up 👍

Well done. Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

Slowing down to the recommended easy conversational pace makes it more achievable and for most, more enjoyable.

Say this sentence out loud to yourself "Am I going slow enough to enable me to speak this sentence in one out breath?" If you cannot, you are going too fast.

I hope W9 R3 goes well for you.

You mention that R2 was rotten and I’ve just looked at your pace in mins per km and it’s really quick (well, compared to mine). Do you think that you could slow down? I know everyone has a natural pace and some are quicker than others but if the run feels excessively difficult I can’t help but think that you would benefit from going a bit slower to see if it feels ‘easier’. After all, if going slow is too easy you can speed up but doing it the other way round can spoil the run for you I.e. slowing down when you’re struggling is harder than speeding up if you’re finding it too easy. Just a suggestion.

Good luck for your graduation run. 😊

Gosh your speed is fast, well done if you’re maintaining it - I’d be dead on my feet within 5 minutes! Like Jell6, I find that if I build up my pace gradually I can get in a sprint finish to use up what little is left in the tank! You may find it easier to start slower and build up but that speed is impressive! 🏃🏼‍♀️
