First run missed this morning

Well no run today as really cold and we had a dusting of snow last night. Not much I could do at 7am this morning as was still raining and roads round here are flooded. Working now so can’t get out later. Disappointed but no choice. Hopefully the roads will improve providing rain stops. Being realistic but back out on Monday morning I hope.

It's snowing (but not sticking) here too. I had planned a gentle jog for about now to see if my shin had rested sufficiently to start running again.

Instead I'm going out for engine oil as my partner's car is low and showed a festoon of "check engine" lights earlier in the week, requiring Green Flag to recover her back here. I've just found out it should have had a service 18 months ago. I told her kindly but firmly that before the end of today she should get a major service (and the MOT) booked. (She's going to rely heavily on that car come the new year.)
