Or should that read , CR3.72K.

Yes I smashed that 3.5K barrier.

I started off feeling great. After a few minutes I had to force myself to slow down a tad, in case I burnt out. Even the middle section was not such a slog. I told myself to keep my head looking forward and not at the ground (except in the darker sections with remaining slippy leaves!) When my 3 minute warming went off I felt good enough to try and up my pace a bit.

I got to the end and decided to slow back down to a slow jog for a minute to warm down, before my warm down walk.

It even stopped drizzling after 15 minutes!

Two days rest and back on it on Saturday. Might try a new route, I've been looking at.

I'll sleep well tonight.

Sounds like a good run, and you got to 3.5km, another hurdle got over, we all have our goals, bit like getting to the end of week 9, and it sounds like you really enjoyed it, which is the important bit, i'm also trying some new routes, felt it was time to change it up a bit! 😀

Wahey Rennur...well done👏👏😁💪. Good feeling hey!! That run sounded brilliant...your body was ready to move up a notch, no problem. And no🌧️🌧️🌧️ing on your parade 😁. 🦌🐌🐢🏃‍♀️🙋

Well done. It's good to know that persistence and true grit pays off. It's an education to me, as a newbie, to learn about the continuing progress of graduates beyond C25K. 😊

Not just 3.5 but 3.72, well done. Did you sleep well then ? Randomly as I was nodding off last night it occurred to me that your name is runner backwards. That's how slow I am 🙄

I slept like a log. Of course I had to get up once. But getting up this morning was hard. I think I had had to catch up on a few bad nights' sleeps. Yes I was so bad when I started I thought a backwards Runner was an apt sobriquet.

Great progress Rennur! Fab you managed to smash that barrier of yours and it sounds like you enjoyed it too - which is the main thing. Keep at it 🙌🏼✨☺️

Catching up belatedly. Well, sounds like you smashed that 3.5 barrier and the some. Do keep it steady, though, and beware of over-pushing. I know I’m flying off the blocks a bit too fast... apparently, it’s a rookie error!
