Hiya,

CR4 and not a failure but still a disappointment: after 19 minutes I had to walk for 1,5 minute. The weird thing is, I feel good, I just seem to drain energy more quickly than before. Where are the runs when I could run 30 mins straight? Anyways, very curious for CR5. As it will be on Sunday in the morning when I am still fresh, I have certain expectations (as in actually running the full 30 mins). We'll see...

Arch supports still seem to do their work and with a bandaid on the spot where they irritate, that problem is solved too. Oh and look at the picture, I wore the cap I just crocheted myself 😁. Nice warm head!

Cheers, Evy

So lovely to meet you Evy!!! Running first thing in the day is my fave- less mental drain so your Sunday run should be good. Not able to run for- til its less snowy and icy it's driving me insane- so your 19-minute run sounds like a dream !!! 😀😊

Yeah I prefer running in the morning too. But week = work and I am not planning on getting up at 5 am to run in the dark. No way! So alass it means running after work when I am not so fresh anymore. All the more reason to long for the weekend even more 😁

Lovely hat, and nice to see you 😊 It's great that you are still doing the runs and enjoying them, isn't that what this is all about? Your body is still adapting and strengthening so every run is helping you achieve your goal whether it was 10 minutes, 19 minutes or 30 minutes.

I certainly prefer to run in the mornings and yes I'm getting up at the crack of dawn with a headtorch to do it, can't wait until its light in the mornings again.

It was 19 mins running, then 1.5 min walking and then the balance of 30 mins running. So I did do 30 mins total. But stupid me does view it as a kind of disappointment as I could run 30 mins straight and now seem to struggle with it. Oh well, just going to plod on.

Running in the dark ain't for me. Way too scared of nasty peeps hiding in the bushes... It is not all too safe around here and I run in a sort of park. So... no 😉

Best to keep safe - I'm with you on that. I'm just really lucky it's safe where I am and I meet a fair number of other pre-work runners while I'm out.

Maybe you’re going too fast? Maybe try more/better food and water earlier in the day to help your energy? Sounds like you’re still going strong. Sometimes one just needs a breather. 😃
