So yesterday was to be w6r3, my chance to become a real runner.
Went out on the new route, flat to start with a slight uphill in the middle and then downhill to finish. Now I've done both w6r1&2 on this route and enjoyed it, so confidence was high.
Get up, get dressed, music on, Laura to talk me through it. Get the first 10 done, no problem, then three minutes later hit a wall, legs say no. Not really out of breath.
When I did w5r3 in the morning that was a real struggle, w6r1&2 were done in the evening. I don't understand and it's knocked my confidence for 6

Need that answer myself. Just don't do mornings. Some people are just naturally more alive late afternoon/ evenings. There's probably someone way more qualified than me to give you a proper answer 😉 Don't get disheartened though, we all have bad runs. Your next will be great.
scubasmiff, dust yourself down, and don't dismiss yourself, it's just been one of those runs, leave it perhaps take an extra day off, and come back stronger, the morning evening thing we all have a chosen ideal time, I'm normally mornings, but it's getting later, due to getting home off night's later!
Hi scubasmiff ...don’t be disheartened...some runs are just flippin rubbish...I can run in the morning (my fav) and I can run in the evening but ask me at 2 in the afternoon and there’s not a chance...funny how we all suit different times but that’s just how it is...and sometimes, when we set off uber confident everything just goes downhill...the rubbishy runs make the good runs feel even better so put kick this one in the bin and put it behind you..I’m sure your next outing will feel much better because of it
