I used my new Garmin today which was brilliant. When I got near home I realised that I hadn't quite done the 5k so went around a field a couple of times.
5.03K was a mix of running and walking taking 50 minutes - I know it slower than a ππ but a majority of it was uphill. At one point I came across a man and his toddler on his little trike - all I kept thinking was please don't overtake me π€£π€£
I don't know how people listen to their music and run, I'm just concentrate on keeping upright on the muddy tracks and watching out for people on their scramble bikes!!
Anyway, tough but completed. I've had a lovely hot shower and now going to make my coffee,
Stay safe everyone.

Well done, sounds like a good run π. I hope you are enjoying being outside. I'm looking forward to getting back into it next week, my knee is starting to feel much better.
I might try without music then and concentrate on my pace. 1st Km done in 6 minutes. Way too fast for me. I do listen to thrash/death metal though..... fairly pacey π
Well done, that's another outdoor run ticked of, made me chuckle about the man, with his toddler, i know we all think about our pace, but just being out there running, is all that matters! π
Well done!!! A 5k smashed it πβ¨I also got a new Garmin.. can't wait to try it out .. waiting for the next dryish day.. like you I worry about staying upright in all this mud ππ§
Well done shuffleido, sounds like a really good run, despite it being hard...but you were running uphill!!!ππ. There are plenty of hills here in Malvern...I'm doing my best to avoid them at the momentπ....so more power to youπͺπͺπͺ, good going. π¦π’ππββοΈπ
The worst is running up behind walkers, gradually gaining on them, but not having the power to run past them like a gazelle, saying an obligatory 'good morning' then shuffling along in front of them, hoping they will have the decency to slow down
