Second consolidation run complete! Proud of myself again because I did break my healthy eating regime last night with a bottle of Tennessee Honey and a roast because it was my birthday, but I was determined not to break my running routine. I find I rely less on the music to keep me going now which is nice, maybe I’ll switch podcasts, especially now I won’t have Jo turning down the volume to natter at me every few minutes.

I went a bit off-piste (as opposed to “too pissed” which is probably what I was last night) and just ran all over the place and headed in the general direction of home to get back, so I actually did 5.28km.

A highlight was running past a retirement home while “Ave Satani” from The Omen soundtrack was blasting in my ears

So now I’m back, feeling good and looking forward to the next run!
