My first post-Jo run! Felt a bit weird, like having the training wheels taken off! Ran 5kms again, using the Strava app this time. I was given wireless earbuds with the hooks, and an arm holder for my phone, which made the run a whole lot easier. Went a different way this time, around the streets of Maidenhead. Quite cold and foggy out! After about 3kms I was comfortable and able to just cruise, I think I’ve knocked about 30s per km off my time which is great. Playlist was all sorts of random nonsense 😜😂
CR 1: My first post-Jo run! Felt a bit weird... - Couch to 5K

Great pace Prof. I went out with just my spotify and a 30 minute timer. Nowhere near 5K. Only 3.3K. Carried on for just over 3.5K as fast as possible.I'll get to 5K by February I guess.
I was really unfit in May but have improved immensely (for me) since September.
Keep it up.
Thanks and good luck! Once you get into a comfortable pace if the music is good you can just keep going and I’m sure you’ll hit 5kms pretty soon!
Well done pr0....a real pro now, you're steaming ahead already👍👍. Crikey...who knows how much you'll be upping your pace now you have your new gadgets, they sound like great accessories. Sounds like a fantastic run... another 5k. All the best. 🦌🐢🐌🏃♀️🙋
I love that point in a run where you hit 'cruise' mode! Random nonsense is definitely my favourite music genre. Well done on your first post-grad run!
Well done on going it alone today. You can get a bit lost during consolidation. I know I did so try to have a bit of a plan to keep you focused when the PBs stop coming. Great run 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well done, pr0fess0r 🎉🎉 I only managed 3.97k on my first post-Jo run, so you’re well up there. Music does make all the difference, and tech doodads do help as well. My earbud (only have it in one ear rather than both) falls out now and then, which is a bit annoying. Best wishes for your run! 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🌈
Thanks! The earbuds with the hoop to hold them on your ear are amazing and worth getting, they also have louder volume - the pair I was given were the AWS A9s and they're great
