Week 2 Run 3!

I’ve finished week 2! Yay! 😁 I’ve already gotten waaaaay further than I thought I would. I’m nervous to start week 3, but I felt the same about week 2 and I did it 😊

I’m currently on furlough but I’ll be going back to work this time next week and I’m a bit worried it’s gonna throw me off. Right now I’m feeling very motivated and I’ve got a good routine going on with my runs, but I don’t know what I’ll be like when I’m back at work and my shifts are all over the place! So any tips for staying motivated and getting a good routine on the go are welcome! :)

Thanks! :D

Congratulations on your progress so far, you’re doing really well...and making the most of furlough, what a great way to adapt to the change...and I am sure, given your motivation and enthusiasm you will find the time for your runs...the only thing I think I would say is...when you get the opportunity to run, get your gear on and go..no over thinking and no ‘oh I’ll just do this...’ you may be more tired being back at work too so make sure your diet and hydration are spot on...good luck, make the most of the time you have left...I’m sure you’ll be just fine

Week 3's sessions are each four minutes shorter than week 2's. There's the same amount of running but less walking.

Finding time is always a problem, I know. It won't harm your progress if you have to put a few extra days between runs.

I’ve just done week 3 run 2

I’m finding week 3 easier - so don’t stress it will be fine!

Just think how much better you feel after each run and what a high you get, and how your doing something positive which is just for you. I’m sure you’ll find a way of fitting in your runs around your shifts. 👍
