It’s definitely getting easier, not easy but easier. Don’t get me wrong though I’m still unfit and got at least a stone to lose. I make myself get out that door each run day. Straight out after work before I can give myself any excuses. Noticed I wasn’t as red and sweaty after my run but still don’t plan to run in my lunch hour. Very muddy and wet yesterday and having to dodge the puddles. Ran in my local park, around the duck pond and along a river. Still trying to work out if it’s easier on pavements or grass? Last week 2 run on Saturday and I’m so proud of myself for doing this. Let’s all keep going.

Week 2 run 2 done
Yay I just did Week 2 Run 3 I didn't want to run on grass in the rain, I worry about slipping, but the tennis courts were perfect even with the bits of tree from the storm. Well done, we will take this journey together😀🏃🏻♀️
Well done Mollyjazz700 on getting out that door and making a commitment to yourself. Please follow the fabulous links on how to start the programme, and more importantly how to carry on safely...makes a huge difference. You'll get great support and encouragement here, lovely group of people 😁. I've stopped running on grass, too wary of all the potholes and mud!!! Have found pavement running ok, not as scenic😕 of course. However I've been told that it can cause more stress on the body. Potholes and twisted ankles...or boring pavements...no contest for me! Enjoy your next run. All the best. 🏃♀️🙋
Well done. It’s so great to feel your stamina improving. I’m still mainly on the grass/ runners’ mud tracks, but on the whole they’re not too slippery at the moment.
