I did it! Slow jog for 3m,5m,3m,5m. Feeling proud. It did seem a lot harder than last week but I kept going. Iโm now running more of the 30 minutes than walking. ๐
Woke up starving so I had a banana before my run. Do you eat a snack before?
It was busy out there today so I did feel a bit of a donut being overtaken a dozen times by other runners in park! ๐

Well done. Slow and steady is definitely the key. This will see you in good stead when you come to do the longer runs. I personally donโt eat before a run and just have a glass of water. Iโm guessing a banana is fine as theyโre not too heavy. Keep up the brilliant work.
Congratulations, well done you๐๐. What a good feeling hey๐. I'm sure it did seem a bit harder because you're putting in more running now as the weeks move forward. Just keep to a slow steady pace as PMcL1966 says...the aim is to eventually be able to run for 3 x 30 mins...and that's it...no race...just comfortable ๐. I usually have a banana & water (of course!!) Before I start my warm up and head out. Part of my routine now. Keep up the great work, you're doing fab. ๐๐๐๐โโ๏ธ๐
Well done! Youโve proved to yourself you can do this. Slow and steady is the key. ๐๐๐
I donโt eat before I go out unless Iโm going to be running for a lot longer. I just have a cuppa. If Iโm running, say, for 30 minutes or so, maybe a faster run, I get stitch if I eat first. If I do eat before a longer run Iโll have half a banana, but at least 90 minutes before I run. Then Iโll have the other half when I get back, in my porridge!
Wow amazing well done you, you should be very proud. Iโm new to running and on week 6. I had eaten before I ran before but found I got a stitch Iโve since stopped eating before and just have a glass of water and I havenโt had a problem since. As soon as Iโm back I eat.
