Another run and another PB. I am over the moon

I had thought that early morning runs were for me. I had thought that running circuits of a kinda circular 700m rough park track/path would bore the t*ts off if me. I had thought that bettering my PB was too much of an ask because I’ve done that twice in the last seven days.

I was wrong:-

I really enjoy lunchtime runs and it breaks the day up which helps with my concentration.

I love running the circuits as I always have a visual on how far I have left to go. It has the added benefit of (sometimes) making me try for an additional circuit.

I bested my PB for the third time. Slow as (.....insert a word that won’t offend you) but I’ll take the wins where I can get them. I am still slow *in fact, very slow* but.....I am a little less slow. I am chuffed to bits 😁😁😁😁

Well done... I envy you being able to run later in the day. I'm early morning or rubbish 😂🏃‍♀️

If you’d have asked me a few weeks ago I would have said the same thing. Give it a few tries - you may just need to get used to it and to the different people that are around later in the day. And, thank you 😊

I get home at about 4 and it's nearly dark now. I did the 321go on NRC last week, 17 minutes - just right for that time. It's quite lonely where I run so bit nervous of it in the dark 👻👻 😂

I forget that I have the benefit of working from home for the time being and that gives me flexibility that I didn’t have before lockdown. I’d be in the same boat as you ordinarily.

Whatever time you are fitting your runs in - you’re making sure that you go out and do it and for that I applaud you. 👏🏼👏🏼

Well done on another pb!

You are probably more productive at work in the afternoon as a result of your run too so it’s a win all round..😊

Well done JN a PB is a PB and whether you consider yourself to be slow or not, the important thing you’re continually improving. You’ve every right to be chuffed, keep up the good work 👍🏃‍♀️

I’ve had a hat trick- I. Sure it’ll steady off now for a while which is just fine. I am just thoroughly enjoying the running. Non run days are just less joyful than run days - I am a changed woman 😂

Nice one. Nice to have ones ideas shaken sometimes too.

I’ve enjoyed some pre-lunch runs for exactly the same reason. Another bonus of the circuits is to play ‘what’s different from last time’.
