Week 3 run 1 much covered shorter distance?

I felt great and could run for longer but didn't get as far as W2 (or W1)? I enjoyed the 3 minute runs and didn't feel that complete exhaustion but curious why I didn't get anywhere near as far?

I found the same. If you look at the chart you'll see that week 3 is actually five minutes shorter than week 2. I thought it could be extended a bit so it is less of a jump to week 4. I managed it though.

Thank you for reminding me to check the programme - I just stick it on and wait to be surprised - that's reassuring to know but I hope week 4 is not then a horrendous jump!

No - it looked it but I found I managed it quite naturally. And slowed down!

You're not imagining things. Week 3 has the shortest sessions in the whole scheme.
