Since graduation running has been not been easy. I hit 5K on week 9 run 2 BUT on my graduation run W9 run 3 I hurt my calf muscle achilles tendon - then I had a break for a colonoscopy which went well - but after that I got ill with horrible stomach pain - had an ambulance called spent a week incapacitated and exhaused . Then my mother died (not expected) and my sister got breast cancer and needs a masectomy .
I fitted a couple of pretty pathetic runs in between all this
But today I got out - I felt grotty when starting but I ran 5.4K on a hilly route. It was slow but I did it and I enjoyed.
Made me feel back on it ! Its good stuff this running.

So sorry to read of your recent difficulties, bereavement and different health challenges. Rather uplifting to read how the running helped. Keep it up, you need to look after you. No matter how hard or awful I find a run, I always feel better after.
