This wasn’t my first run on the week, I had a short one on Monday, A.K.A I couldn’t manage it... I did a bit of sprinting to make up for it though.
I ran W6R2 again today. I’ve now run it that many times I know what Jo Whiley is going to say before she says it. I’m glad I’ve done it though, it felt really good today... I seemed to glide round. I think I’m ready for W6R3 🥰
Now the weather is getting pants I think I’m going to need another pair of trainers one to run in whilst the others drying.... any recommendations would be gladly received.

You did better than me today. Storm Barbara threw a series of heavy showers this way today. Rain bouncing off the road surface type showers. I've been concerned about my ankles after Monday's run (not hurt, just a little on the tender side), so the extra rest day has helped. W6R2 (with extras) for me next.
As to what to do with wet shoes? My weird shoes go in the washing machine alongside my kit after a run. They've actually got washing instructions printed inside them.
I suggest putting shoes beside a radiator but on the floor..so they can dry quite quick but not hot enough to mention glue.
Your doing really well.. im only on week one! Well done you! You deserve to treat yourself to a new pair of trainers!
Have a wee look at the ones you have for which side of them is wearing and see what the pronation is. This can help choose suitable shoes.
Some feet specialist will recommend specific running shoes to suit your feet. Mine told me i've a high instep so he recommended to me asics gt1000 or asics gt2000. I find them great.
I think if going to the expense of a new pair.. getting the correct pair could be worth the bit extra money To be advised what shoe suits foot for support.
