I was determined to run for 5k and I made it my birthday challenge. Cannot believe I did it , in fact a little bit more, but thatβs only because it was downhill to home.
I struggled with my pace, but there were a few inclines. Sooooo pleased I completed my first 5k. Was very red faced when I finished, which I havenβt been for a while, reminded me of my first few weeks.
Hubby and the pooch bought me a Garmin so was itching to test it out π.
Lovely flowers from our daughter and going out for a meal tonight... I think I deserve a dessert now π€£.
Happy running πββοΈ

Oh well done you ππ I think you had your sights set on this so what a fab day to do it πππ
Beautiful flowers and I bet your having fun with your own garmin .
I bought one ( it was on offer ππ) around week 8 I think and although I know I should do a bit more reading to fully get all its benefits I just love getting that wee screen with the three circles when I get home π€·πΌββοΈπ€·πΌββοΈπ
Hope youβre having a fabulous evening and Iβd go for something very chocolatey, unless of course thereβs lemon posset on the go ππ€π
Yes I did, especially after Sundayβs tech issue. I set myself a challenge to do it on my birthday.
Played around with my new watch this morning and was great looking at new stats this evening. Canβt stop running now hubby had bought me one haha π€£
Had a lovely evening ending with sticky toffee pudding, yum π
Will need to do another 5k to work the pudding off now πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπ
