Graduated late summer. There is no going back and I am doing three runs a week. Pace is very gradually getting better and have achieved 5k in 35mins. I am so pleased about this. Psychological it is such a boost. My well-being has improved. I have very slowly lost about 5lbs. I believe I need to keep running to keep weight at the current level. So that is a good incentive. The nagging voice still tries to emerge and stop me, but I think it is getting weaker. I love growing in awareness of my surroundings and get a real buzz when a run is achieved.
Any tips for keeping the motivation going as the weather gets colder would be welcome.
