Afternoon all,
Been a lurker for 9 weeks, always said I would post after W9 R3... today is that day! ๐
Firstly, thank you to everyone who posts, asks questions and supports. Thatโs what makes this an amazing site ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
I was looking for healthy eating tips and fell into this site!
Never a runner, in fact, never a jogger!
About me - Jason, 47, 2 wonderful girls, great wife, happy in my job... happy days! Hmmmm
Took the girls swimming in January and the 5yo said daddy you have got a big fat belly! (As only a 5yo can!) hmmm
Time to hit the scales 17.12 stone 112kg hmmm
Liked my food, beer and always been a big boy!
Time for a change, I thought!
So stopped with the beer started to eat a healthy diet and took on the couch to 5k!
9 weeks later...... 16.1 stone 101kg and Iโve just run for 30 minuets 3 times in a week!
Thatโs my journey so far...... looking forward to my next run on Thursday. (Just for me!)
Thanks again to everyone who posts, it helped me every day
Happy running everyone
Jason
