Hi all staring at wk 1 again had some time off from running. Wish me luck completed wk 1 this morning and felt the happiest I have done in ages. Mental health hasn’t been great since Jan been prioritising everything over my running missed it so much. Love and Light all here’s hoping I’ll get to graduate again x

That is very good that you have come back to running, good luck for your running journey with C25K, as this is the second time that you are doing the course you should "fly " through it in no time.

Well done - I'm nearly at your stage! Went for a planned 30 min walk yesterday which took me 20 mins which was positive so will soon be tackling the c25k again - maybe for the fourth time:) Good luck

I started week 1 in January this year, since then I have stoped and started at week 1 so many times I’ve lost count. I got as far as week 4 at one point. I’m planning to start again from week 1 this week after a couple of weeks off with a sinus infection. Like you I’m hoping it will also boost my mental health. Hoping to make it further than week 4 this time. πŸ˜…

I've knocked it on the head for now. Started in June. Got up to week 7 but had far too much disruption since then. I returned to work on shorter days than previously which means working 9/14 days instead of the 7 I worked pre covid. I am walking the (almost) 4 miles to and from work to avoid public transport and am currently on my 3rd stint of self isolation. I'll get there one day but now is not the time.

Good luck! I started again from week 1 a month ago after graduating a year ago. It feels great to be back, and if anything it does feel easier second time around.... like you, had some very difficult family stuff to deal with this year and do feel that it is helping me deal with this. Good luck

I’ve started over 3 times because my knees aren’t great and had to stop.

Running is great for not just the body, but also the head. Keep at it!

I did the same as you after a 2 month break, because of surgery. It was brilliant to get out and get running again. I think I got to week 4 and I felt so good I just kept running (though I went really slowly and promised myself I'd stop if it hurt).

It gave my mental wellbeing such a boost - I hope it does the job for you too! :-)

I too find that Couch to 5K has been so beneficial for all aspects of my health both mental and physical. Everything else is so much easier when you "run" regularly. Personally I've found a level that suits me, I run twice a week, occasionally three, and it stretches me enough without thinking that I've got to achieve some one else's standards. Persistence is the thing not how far/how fast; being healthy in these troubled times is the most important thing you can do. Good luck and keep going; well done.

Worry not! I am doing exactly the same starting tomorrow! I reached Week 8 during lockdown, then work happened :(( A week off and I miss the routine and community. So going to try and start back over too! Enjoy!! #letsdothis!

Good Luck! it's not the easiest time with all this wet weather. I graduated end of June and now am struggling a bit with motivation to get out the door. It was so easy in the summer! :)
