Can’t believe I’m actually writing this - I graduated Couch to 5K this morning and feel so proud of myself!
I couldn’t imagine running for 30 mins during those first weeks of the programme but here I am! I carried on this morning and ran to 5 K in about 44 mins.
I can’t recommend this journey enough to anyone who is thinking about taking it! It makes you feel amazing and the sense of achievement after each run is just priceless both mentally and physically. It’s incredible how it works making you run for longer each week. I have loved it 💕
Also this group has been a source of inspiration all along the way. So many wonderful people who are so willing to help, advise and encourage. Thank you all so so much!!
Yay! I’m a runner and I can’t wait to continue this journey. My aim is to keep running 5K for a few weeks and gradually build up to 10K over the coming months. I really want to do a Parkrun when they re open and eventually do the next Run For Life in memory of someone we lost 3 years ago.
I’ll be staying in this group tho as I’d miss not catching up on everyone’s achievements.
